Covet by Melissa Darnell Book Review

Dangerous to be together. Painful to be apart. Savannah Colbert knows she broke up with Tristan Coleman for the right reasons. Most of all, to keep from killing him with her new vampire abilities. But try telling her heart. Now, lost in a sea of hostile Clann faces, Sav tries to come to terms with what she's becoming and what that means for her future. And that someone is doing their best to bully her into making a terrible mistake.

Tristan can't believe Sav won't even talk to him. If being apart is her decision, fine. Just don't expect him to honor it. But even as he prepares to fight for the girl he loves, forces beyond their control take them both in directions neither could have foreseen or prepared for.

A reckoning is coming... and not everyone will survive.”

MY REVIEW

3 1/2 stars

Covet is book two in The Clann series by Melissa Darnell. The first book was a great introduction into the series and I certainly enjoyed it enough to continue on with book two which I enjoyed more so.
(( Covet ))

Melissa Darnell will draw you into her world, giving the reader vivid descriptions and a world that as a reader you will find imaginative and alluring.

Her Characters are certainly likeable enough -   the struggles they go through with love and life, each and every one of us has certainly experienced sometime in our lives. Conflicts, battles within and moments where your life seems unsure.

The love is a little whiney at times, Between Tristan and Savannah  they really want to be together but can’t be,  that I found at times a little frustrating. But none the less being a romantic at heart I enjoyed the lovey dovey romance anyway .  ( I cant wait to see how this pans out in book three ))

The story created has many possibilities and the storyline was captivating, leaving me wanting book three for sure. It is a well paced story, giving the reader a roller coaster ride of emotions, with each page or chapter giving us a little more into the characters and the world that she has created.

This series is yes another ya story with Vampires, but it’s intriguing and will certainly pique your interest with the indifference within.

No spoilers or hints for this book lovely readers, read the blurb, grab book one and read away!

Thank you to Harlequin Australia for supplying me this book to review for my honest opinion.

Pst I do love the Aussie cover.
